Celebrating 200 Years of Printmaking in Maine
August 2006 through March 2007
Maine's art museums and galleries invite you to participate in a unique and unprecedented opportunity to experience the rich history of fine-art printmaking in Maine. The Maine Print Project, the largest collaborative arts initiative in the state's history, presents Celebrating 200 Years of Printmaking in Maine from this August through March 2007 in twenty-five museums, galleries, and college and university campuses across the state. In addition to the project's efforts, concurrent exhibitions of Maine printmakers are planned in other galleries throughout Maine.
