Camden has a secret. When most people think of the town, the images that spring to mind are the graceful old houses, the quaint shops along Elm and Main streets, and the magnificent sailing ships bobbing in the cozy harbor. Merryspring Nature Park, a nonprofit oasis now in its thirty-first year, is located just off busy Route 1, tucked behind a shopping plaza with a supermarket, video store, and banks.
