The Irregular Strikes Again

The Irregular Strikes Again
November 7, 2007

From the Nov. 7 issue of The Original Irregular, a weekly newspaper published in Kingfield:

“But what set the pace for the whole day was an Eagle he made on the forth hole.”

(After which, he sallied fourth.)

“The State Department of Education has come out with a recent report claiming the use of laptops in middle-school over the five year program is paying off with improved writing skills noticed in student achievement …. [A student] added that he’s learned to how take notes quickly, as well as how to organize them effectively. [Another student] spoke of fact that the they all know what they’re doing now compared to when they were younger and had limited access.”

(If it improves writing so much, maybe it’s time to start a laptops-for-journalists program.)
