Carolina Chocolate Drops

Stars On Ice
Members of the U.S. Olympic figure skating team return from the Sochi games to perform in Stars on Ice. This popular tour (conceived by former Olympian Scott Hamilton) has brought world-class skaters to audiences around the country since 1986. Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race

East Coast Pond Skimming Championships

Pilobolus Dance Theater
Since its creation by a group of Dartmouth College students in 1971, Pilobolus Dance Theater (so named for a fungal genus known for explosive dissemination of spores) has made a mark on the world of dance. Their mind- and body-bending choreography has been featured on the Academy Awards, Sesame Street, and Oprah. (They also hold the Guinness World Record for number of people fit into a Mini Cooper — 26.) Boothbay Harbor Fisherman’s Festival
Kick off the Maine fishing season at the Boothbay Harbor Fisherman’s Festival, celebrating its 41st anniversary this year. Witness the crowning of Miss Shrimp Princess 2014, fill up at the fish fry and lobster bake, or cheer on participants in one of the weekend’s many good-natured competitions, from the bait-shoveling race to lobster-crate running. Bill Burr
Comedian Bill Burr has lent his talents to the Opie & Anthony Show, several feature films, and episodes of Chappellle’s Show, New Girl, and Breaking Bad.
