The Georgetown Working League is holding their 100th annual fair in 2013. Quilt raffle, handmade items,collectibles, homemade baked goods, art, crafts, books, jewelry, white elephants, childrens activities, lunch. All proceeds benefit the town.
Jamie Wyeth, Rockwell Kent, and Monhegan

Jamie Wyeth’s connection to Monhegan dates to the late 1950s, when he first went there with his father, and he has continued to paint there ever since. His connection to fellow artist Rockwell Kent goes back nearly as far. Early in his career Wyeth bought several pen and ink drawings by Kent used as the sources for his illustrations to Moby Dick, one of Kent’s most renowned book illustration projects. Subsequently, Wyeth bought several of Kent’s paintings from his first period on the island around 1907.

Red Cloak Haunted History Tours
An evening lantern lit tour will explore Damariscotta, Wiscasset, Boothbay Harbor, Camden or Bath, discovering ghosts and history, spirits and mystery. Buildings that once seemed ordinary will take on eerie new dimensions as The Lady in the Red Cloak relives their history and that of the ghostly entities that are said to still reside there. Fall Foliage on Casco Bay: New Leaf & Wave Inspired Stoneware by Gail Kass

For the month of October, member potter, Gail Kass has made a fresh batch of striking ikebanas and one-of-a-kind leaf and wave motif serving pieces which mirror the ever changing fall foliage on Casco Bay. These hand-formed, artful clay objects are seasonally themed and glazed in shades of forest green, auburn, mustard, and mahogany.
From Kennebunk to Appomattox: The Civil War at Home and Away

This exhibit celebrates the Kennebunks role in the American Civil War through materials from the Museum’s collection, and an interactive display. Approximately 300 men from the Kennebunks served during the Civil War. Artifacts including uniforms, weaponry, a drum, and a coronet will be on display. Important archival materials and images will help to tell the stories of the roles these brave men played in the Civil War. The exhibit also portrays the impact that the conflict had at home and the changes it made to lives of Kennebunk citizens.

“My Mother’s Clothes” is performed in a series of connected monologs by Elizabeth Peavey as she confronts the following: Losing a parent is difficult enough. Losing your final parent presents an additional challenge: What are you supposed to do with all your family's stuff? For months, she avoided wading through her late mother's things. But when her mom's condo sells, she's forced to reckon with its contents. As she does, objects surface, triggering memories from her childhood in Bath, including visits to Mr.
