Throughout July and August, the Washburn-Norlands Living History Center will be open every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for “Living History Tours”. Visitors to the site are engaged by people, dressed in period clothing, who portray a local person, someone you might have met had you visited in 1870.

The Georgetown Working League is holding their 100th annual fair in 2013. Quilt raffle, handmade items,collectibles, homemade baked goods, art, crafts, books, jewelry, white elephants, childrens activities, lunch. All proceeds benefit the town.

Beginning at noon on June, 17, this fun scrabble style golf tournament is open to teams and individuals of all levels. There will be prizes, awards, a raffle and a turf and turf dinner folowing the tournament. The event is organized by the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport-Arundel Chamber of Commerce.

Alix Lambert is a filmaker, author and artist living in New York City. She was nominated for a Writers Guild of America Award for her work on the HBO drama Deadwood and was also an associate producer and staff writer for the HBO "surf noir" series John From Cincinnati. Her feature-length documentary The Mark of Cain was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and aired on Nightline. In 2013 she will be the Kennedy Fellow Visiting Artist at the School of Art at the University of South Florida.

He has been the still photographer on more than 70 films, including: The Proposal, Devil, X Men 3, Take the Lead, The Day After Tomorrow, Changing Lanes, Nobody's Fool, Legends of the Fall, Broadcast News and The Witches of Eastwick. Kerry's portraits of films leading personalities appear throughout the industry in magazine, posters and in promotional material for the films themselves.
