Throughout July and August, the Washburn-Norlands Living History Center will be open every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for “Living History Tours”. Visitors to the site are engaged by people, dressed in period clothing, who portray a local person, someone you might have met had you visited in 1870.

The Georgetown Working League is holding their 100th annual fair in 2013. Quilt raffle, handmade items,collectibles, homemade baked goods, art, crafts, books, jewelry, white elephants, childrens activities, lunch. All proceeds benefit the town.
Opening reception, meet and greet the artist on Friday, June 7, from 5-8pm. Live music by the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School String Ensemble. Free, light refreshments. Exhibit and sale continues through June 29 in the historic cape, 272 Pikes Hill, Norway.

One of the largest Civil War Reenactments in Maine, this event features a variety of living history demonstrations, exhibits, and engaging activities remembering the activities of the Civil War in the Spring of 1863. It is organized by the 3rd Maine Company A and 15th Alabama Company G to benefit Maine’s oldest living history farm and museum.

View the captivating new exhibit featured at Fryeburg Academy’s Palmina S. and Stephen F. Pace Galleries of Art entitled The Harry Nadler Collection. The exhibit will be on display from June 8 through September 2, 2013. Come out for the free exhibit opening on Saturday, June 8th from 1-3pm. Light fare will be offered alongside musical entertainment. At 3pm the Student Gallery of the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center will be dedicated and named for Harry and Helen Nadler.
