Cathy Hammond has lived near one coast or the other most of her life, and for many years within easy reach of four different lighthouses. She has wonderful memories of time spent at Fort Williams, Spring Point and Two Lights State Park. When living in South Portland not far from Willard Beach, she would listen to the foghorns and spend some sleepless nights walking the beach, comforted by those guiding beacons flashing their warnings to passing ships.

A ticket for Day Out With Thomas includes the train ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, as well as a variety of Thomas & Friends themed entertainment, including Storytelling and Video Viewing, Temporary Tattoos of Island of Sodor friends, and an Imagination Station with Arts & Crafts and more. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Sir Topham Hatt, the Controller of the Railway on the Island of Sodor. The museum also has one of the finest antique auto exhibits, an exceptional model railroad exhibit, barrel train rides and a historic village to experience.
