Mollyockett Days was started in 1960 by the Bethel Health Council to raise funds for local families in need and to commemorate Mollyockett, an Abenaki healer. This year’s theme is “Our River Runs Through It” and activities include a parade at 10 a.m. on July 16, children’s entertainment, free horse-drawn wagon rides, a jewelry and gem auction, music, and lots more. Down East is a sponsor of this event.
