Virtuso fiddler, stunning vocalist, and electrifying step-dancer, April Verch brings her music to the Opera House stage for the first time. In November 2008 she released her latest CD, "Steal The Blue," reminding listeners of a cross between Alison Krauss and Natalie MacMaster - with the former's fantastic pure, sweet voice and the latter's fiddling and step dancing prowess. But Verch is her own person and her sound is a delightful melange of folk, jazz, old-time roots and bluesgrass music.
