On a cold November morning in 1652, two powerful men met in Nicholas Davis' tavern in York Harbor, Maine. There, they debated over whether to accept Massachusetts' authority over the Province of Maine. This critical juncture in history decided the fate of a city, a colony, and the soul of a new nation. An original play written by Michael Kimball and Jennifer Saunders, and directed by Joe Dominguez, stars Roland Goodbody, Don Court, Gregg Trzaskowski, and Joyce Andersen. This play is made possible by the museums of Old York, with support from Kennebunk Savings Bank. The Brick Store Museum venue is made possible by a grant from the Virginia Hodgkins Somers Foundation.
