This course is directed at boat owners who want to learn more about selecting and integrating marine electronics. It is important to understand the options and capabilities of the latest marine technology in order to fit your specific navigation and electronics needs. Our instructors will give you the information you need to make more informed purchases and understand installation requirements. Topics include: Communications: cellular phones, broadband, satellite phones, internet access, networking; Navigation: GPS, chartplotter, radar, laptops, and navigation software interfacing; Entertainment: TV, stereo systems; Energy: demand on battery system This class will be co-taught by two instructors with twenty years of combined marine electronics experience.
