Luna Madidus, the Belfast-based jazz quintet, offers a night of music as experienced through the prism of jazz. “Stories are always the same, its just the language and context that changes. We use this same approach for the music we present.” says composer and pianist Tom Luther. This concert features a diverse musical flight of jazz incorporating the seemingly divergent trajectories of Mingus, Mancini, and Debussy (with lay-overs of George Harrison and Crowded House).
