Live music, guided tours, and birthday cake are just some of the fun planned for Penobscot Bay Day at Penobscot Marine Museum. In celebration of its seventy-fifth anniversary, the museum hosts nonstop events and exhibits for all ages. Penobscot Bay Day will mark the grand opening of the museum's Seabag Visible Storage Center. Seabag is an innovative display and research facility that makes hundreds of additional artifacts available to public view. Visitors may use the facility's database to learn more about any item on display. Also among the day's featured activities will be a free concert of sea chanteys performed by the trio From Away Downeast.
