Moran first appeared at the Deer Isle Jazz Festival in 2003 before becoming a big name in jazz circles. His stirring music earned him a 2010 MacArthur Foundation Fellowship. He will be performing with taiko drummer and fue specialist, Kaoru Watanabe.
