Ten days, one hundred films, and fifty filmmakers! MIFF shows nearly one hundred films, representing the best of American independent and international cinema and spotlighting some of Maine and New England's most exciting and innovative filmmakers. More than just movies, MIFF also offers audience members the opportunity to interact with some of the people behind the movies: directors, producers, writers, musicians. Times vary from day to day and venue to venue. The 2011 festival venues are Railroad Square Cinema and the Given Auditorium at Colby College.
