Want to Own a Maine Lighthouse?
Seven hundred feet of water frontage and the biggest nightlight you can imagine are available on the Maine real estate market. Owners of the Keeper’s House Inn are selling the inn and grounds, which includes an upscale, off-the-grid cabin rented weekly throughout the summer. The town of Isle Au Haut maintains and owns the light and the entire property, off the grid, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The current owners penned the award-winning Island Lighthouse Inn: A Chronicle, while living in the Robinson Point Lighthouse Station Keeper's House.
