Looking Up
Charles Colgan is the go-to man when it’s time to view national economic factors through a Maine perspective. He did so earlier this week with The New England Economic Partnership. Improved summer tourism, more construction, and an unemployment rate that will remain below the national average are among the economic signs Colgan predicts for the summer. He’s also optimistic Maine will stay in line with national trends for home foreclosures and Memorial Day tourism will be up 2 percent over last year.
