Maine Setting Wanted for 'Wyeth'
Andrew Wyeth and his family have a long history in Maine, so it would be fitting to have a planned major movie about the famous brood of painters filmed here. The producers, who include Andrew's son Jamie, met with Governor John Baldacci today to discuss financial incentives that would allow the shooting to take place in the Pine Tree State rather than Massachusetts or Canada. Maine's incentive package is typically a nine percent tax credit or rebate, compared to 25 percent in Massachusetts.
