Unpopular Books Deserve a Home

The Bangor Public Library wants to open an archive for books and periodicals that are rarely checked out, but libraries are reluctant to discard. The idea is to keep one copy of such works in the so-called "last copy center," allowing public libraries to open their shelves to newer material.
