Oldest Woman Had Ties to Maine

The oldest woman in the United States died on Sunday in New Hampshire. Mary Josephine Ray was born in 1895 on Prince Edward Island and moved to the US when she was young. 60 of her 114 years were spent living in Anson, ME. She moved to New Hampshire in 2002 to be closer to her children.
