School Reviews Drug Dog Search
Medomak Valley High School principal Harold Wilson appeared before the MSAD 40 School Board recently to explain an Oct. 25 drug search with six drug-sniffing dogs.
When a "double hit" was made on a locker, Wilson or Assistant Principal Andrew Cavanaugh emptied the locker and brought the materials to their offices. The locker's user also was taken out of his or her classroom and the student’s backpack and personal possessions were searched.
No drugs were found during the lock-down.
