Police Seek Mailer of WWII Bones
Belfast Police would like to talk to the man who mailed human remains — which a typed, anonymous note identified as being skeletal bones of a World War II Japanese soldier — from the Belfast Post Office to the Consulate-General of Japan in New York City.
Belfast police Sgt. Bryan Cunningham says the mailer did not break any laws, however the Japanese consulate cannot accept the remains without more information.
