Maine's Seesaw Population Numbers
The U.S. Census Bureau, according to statistics released Wednesday, shows that from April 1, 2010 to July 1, 2011, Maine declined by 173 people. Only Rhode Island and Michigan showed similar results.
The news isn't all bad though says CBS News. If one were to look at a twelve-month span, from July 2010 to July 2011, the state gained 173 people. A noticeable improvement from the 09–10, and 08–09, which produced a net loss of 2,023, and 919 respectively.
