Offshore Wind Moves Closer Reality

The "Hywind Maine" project, if it goes through, would be roughly a three-square-mile wind farm twelve miles off Boothbay in the Gulf of Maine — the first of its kind in the region. Although some desire further research to go into the project before the next steps are taken, there is wide support for offshore wind within the state and federal government.
