Study Gives Sea Wind Power a Boost
Electricity from offshore wind farms will be generated at competitive rates, a new University of Maine study shows.
University researchers say it seems possible to hit a target of 8-10 cents a kilowatt hour for energy delivered to the grid, which is on par with current costs, the Portland Press Herald reports.
