Turkey Hunter Wounded
The first day of spring turkey season in Maine has already claimed a casualty: 44-year old Mark Lemieux of Sanford was accidentally shot by his uncle, 69-year-old Gerard Lemieux, while hunting near Hollis. According to Maine Warden Service Lieutenant Adam Gormely, Mark Lemieux suffered injuries to his legs, head, chest, and face. He was treated at Goodall Memorial Hospital in Sanford and released.
