Storm Leaves Mainers Without Power
For many the scariest part of this Halloween weekend will be the storm that set records for its unexpected October snowfall. Central Maine Power Co. reported that over 200,000 residents lost power and that tens of thousands of those have yet to get it back. Snow totals varied wildly across the state with some coastal towns reporting no more than two inches, while those further inland, such as North Acton, dealt with over a foot-and-a-half.
