What massive hydroelectric dam was abandoned due to lack of funds?
The Quoddy Tidal Project in Passamaquoddy Bay. During the 1930s, federal funds were allocated for the massive hydroelectric plant and although a village for workers and two small dams were built, additional funding to complete the project was denied and the plan was abandoned.
