From an article in the Original Irregular weekly newspaper by staff writer David Hart, about a mural painted by artist Davlov Ipcar in 1980 in the Kingfield Elementary School:
"This mural turned out to be one of three mural she painted in her life-time directly on the actual walls themselves … She painted a well recognized 106-foot-long mural at the Narragansett Elementary School in Gorham and then went on to paint several others, 10 in all."
(Math, it appears, wasn't her best subject.)
"Decades have now passed and over time the mural has `sometimes' been thought of as just a mural."
(And "sometimes" as a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich with mayo.)
"Her work in Maine, similar to her work on the Kingfield walls …"
(Kingfield being located in Transylvania.)
"It is said that her work sometimes sells for up to five-digit figures."
(Actually, it's up to five-digit figure amounts.)
"Over the years … Ipcar's name at the end has almost become transparent. Not transparent in terms of being visible, but transparent in many not understanding its significance."
(Add another one to the many.)
