Hockey's Minors Head to Maine

This is the year Portland may become known as the minor mecca of sports. The National Basketball Association approved Maine’s largest city for a development basketball team earlier this year and now minor-league hockey is skating to town. Today the American Hockey League announced its annual All-Star Classic will take place at the home ice of the Portland Pirates January 18-19, 2010.
