How many covered bridges did Maine have?

Maine once had 120 covered bridges. Today all but eight have been destroyed. The bridges were covered for one reason: to keep rain and snow from rotting the massive wooden timbers.

I'm looking for information on the 120 covered bridges that were built in the state of Maine. I have a list of the 9 that are still standing but would like to find information on the rest i.e. when they were built, where they were built and what happened to them.
