The University of Southern Maine School of Music presents the Maine premiere of “The Wild Party” Friday and Saturday, Nov. 19-20, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 21, at 5 p.m. at Corthell Concert Hall, USM Gorham. Andrew Lippa's sizzling, pulse-pounding score drives a riveting tale of runaway passions out of control. Set in the decadent Roaring 1920s, searing torch songs compliment a non-stop musical marathon of hedonistic merriment as party guests savor the fervor that defined the age of Jazz.
