How does your garden grow? This year, with the help of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, it could grow really, really well. This spring the group created Grow Maine Grow (http://extension.umaine.edu/gardening/grow-maine-grow/ [2]) a Web site devoted to helping first-time and inexperienced gardeners start and maintain a vegetable garden. You’ll find all the basic information from when to plant to what to plant (and even what to plant as seeds versus seedlings). You can also customize the advice: an online form allows you to submit specific questions to gardening expert Barbara Murphy. Stay tuned to the Web site this summer for a live chat — and follow the extension’s accounts on Facebook and Twitter for even more great gardening tips
and goings-on in Maine.
