[1]The varied career and educational background of Jean English includes a gardening column for Village Soup publications, raising nursery stock for Fedco Trees, and also organic Christmas trees. Jean edits the Maine Organic Farmer and Gardener for MOFGA and has a PhD in Plant and Soil Sciences. English will present a slide show about topics that are getting a lot of attention in farm and garden writing, including climate change, helping pollinators, and the importance of using organic methods.
