Dayton Contemporary Dance Company presents the work of three of the most creative geniuses in American dance: Donald McKayle’s masterwork Rainbow ’Round My Shoulder, about a group of men on a prison chain gang; Tony-nominated choreographer Donald Byrd’s J Lawrence Paint (Harriet Tubman Remix), inspired by the paintings of Jacob Lawrence; and hip-hop inflected dance maker Rennie Harris’ Jacob’s Ladder.
