Aqua City Actors Theatre (ACAT) of Waterville opens its production of Here on the Flight Path on the weekend of Friday March 13th at 730 PM. ACAT’s production of Here on the Flight Path is directed by Carl Morrison. This full-length comedy written by Canadian author Norm Foster is presented by arrangement with Playwrights Guild of Canada and takes place on adjoining apartment balconies, on the flight path in the big city. John Cummings, played by Joe Klapatch, is cynical from his divorce - “I think instead of marriage licenses we should have marriage leases. Then, at the end of five years, if the marriage isn't working properly, you don't renew it.” Over the course of the play, as he makes friends with three very different next-door neighbors, (played by Michelle Dugal, Julie Barrett and Leslie Stein), John discovers that maybe being a carefree man with no direction in his life isn’t what he really wants. Full of sparkling dialogue, loveable characters, human situations and lots of laughs, “Here on the Flight Path” is a delightful comedy, written to lift the spirit. Show dates are March 13-14 and 20-21 at 7:30 pm and 15 & 22 at 2 pm in the Waterville Opera House's Studio Theater located at The Center, First Floor, 93 Main Street in Waterville.
