Offshore Wind Energy

Tomorrow Maine will be taking another step toward harnessing its vast wind power potential when a task force unveils its final four recommendations for offshore sites. The four sites: near Boon Island, by Damariscove Island, South of Monhegan Island or off of Cutler will be used to test floating platforms, anchoring systems, and light weight blades for deep water wind energy.
