OK, we admit it, Esquire’s May issue is not technically about Maine, but it may as well be. The May issue of the men's magazine divulges "How To Be a Man." First off, they include Stephen King in their list of thirty-nine men “because just being male doesn’t make you a man.” King is a man by Esquire’s definition because “despite the millions he’s made, he’s still the guy at the ball game, wearing a T-shirt and sports-bar-goer glasses.” The issue also includes a skills section. The headline reads: “How to Skin a Moose (and twenty-five other skills worth having)." Mainers (men and women both, thank you very much) will approve of some of the other skills such as how to fell a tree or filet a fish.
