According to the Portland Press Herald, L.L. Bean beat Apple and others out for the number one ranking in Bloomberg BusinessWeek's list of "customer service champs." The iconic Maine retialer got high praise for its famous return policy, but also for its great use of the web to meet its customers' needs.
