Record Crowd at Common Ground

The 34th annual Common Ground Country Fair broke attendance records this weekend.

The celebration of rural living attracted about 15,000 people on Friday and 27,000 on Saturday. In addition to the always good food booths, the fair featured crafts demonstrations, workshops in  techniques such as composting with worms, sheep dog herding demonstrations and sales of robust organic produce. The event is organized by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association.
