Bill Warner, of Wimauma, Florida, spent the weekend at the former Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, setting an incredible new motorcycle speed record. For the first time, Warner and his motorcycle passed the 300 mph mark and kept going, hitting a whopping 311.945 mph and establishing a new world record on the 1.5-mile track.
Warner wasn't the only one speeding at Loring: Robert Dayemheim, of Stuart, Florida, hit 240 mph in his car, while seventy-four-year-old Bangor Realtor Dave Sleeper hit 190 mph on his Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.
