'I am not the problem and I am not the enemy in this budget crisis," a state employee told lawmakers Wednesday.
The worker, Penny Whitney-Asdourian of Scarborough, has been a state employee for more than 30 years. She was one of about 70 current and retired state workers who testified against a series of changes to retirement benefits proposed by Gov. Paul LePage.
