Around the country sympathy protests have arisen to help spread the msesage of Occupy Wall Street — a group camped out on Wall Street to express their displeasure with the power that bankers hold within the United States. Occupy Maine began several weeks ago and spread from Portland's Monument Square to Augusta's Capitol Park. So far the group is limited to a few dozen people, but they have been garnering attention from the national media.
