For the past ten years, photographer Joyce Tenneson has been filling her house with shells, piling them on the coffee table in her living room and arranging them on the dining room table. Fanned scallops, spiraled tritons, shining cowries — each is an object of wonder, a naturally occuring work of art. Read "Exquisite" in the December issue of Down East.
Joyce Tenneson will sign copies of her new book, Shells: Nature's Exquisite Creations , on Friday, Dec. 16, 3-5 p.m. at the Farnsworth Art Museum Library, 86 Museum Street, Rockland.
