Art at the Grill Artists' Reception

Damariscotta River Grill kicks off the next installment of the grill’s popular “Art at the Grill” series. The show features the work of Léa Peterson and Susan Zimmerman. Peterson focuses her work, in both oil and pastels, on seascapes and landscapes, capturing Maine’s rocky coast, surf, shore, meadows, and inlets, as well as the people who enjoy and work in those spaces. Susan Zimmerman moved to Maine from Philadelphia and quickly learned to embrace the outdoors. It is there that she takes note of people enjoying Maine—sailing, hiking, eating at sidewalk cafes, and picking wild blueberries—and incorporates the images into her art.
