Gold and orange leaves are scattered across a dirt path, leading to a small country cemetary behind the Elijah Kellogg Church on Harpswell Neck. This was what I consider a perfect autumn day - peak foliage, overcast light, and the smell of autumn strong and overpowering...with the only sound being the leaves falling to the ground.
