Events  include dancing, food and wine tastings, trunk show, workshope, meet he artist, art music and giveaways, even a bona fide fashion show, and more.

Edmund Battersby will perform a benefit recital, for the piano fund of Harbor Music, named for the four harbors where it takes place: Corea-by-the-Sea, Prospect Harbor, Winter Harbor, and the harbor at South Gouldsboro. This week-long workshop brings talented students from the Jacobs School of Music of Indiana University together with an internationally renowned faculty.

 Part of the work of Rivera Sun's nationally-touring Rising Sun Dance & Theater's community work, this style of facilitated conversation draws from the World Cafe model and allows participants to delve deeply into themes in small groups, balancing speaking and listening.

Nationally touring playwright and performer Rivera Sun Cook offers a sermon on "Life As A River" and the ever-flowing, ever-changing interconnectedness that influences her life and work.

Flash in the Pans one of the largest community steel drum bands in the United States. During the concert, the festival’s 2012 Acadia Arts Achievement Award recipient will be announced. The 2012 Legacy of the Arts Festival is sponsored by Down East.

As part of the Legacy of the Arts festivities, this free tour has stops at local art galleries, art studios, museums, and alternative art venues, such as the D’Alessio, Alone Moose, and Mason Galleries in downtown Bar Harbor.

From Zurich, Switzerland, percussive fingerstyle guitarist Attila Vural brings an entirely new sound to Lubec. Vural's blend of jazz, blues, progressive, and other styles in his own compositions is presented on an eight-string guitar and a custom double necked "guitar mandola."

This village-wide celebration features artist studio and gallery openings, exhibits and shows, workshops, lectures, historic tours, concerts, and more. Legacy Week highlights include an Art Walk through downtown Bar Harbor, a Father's Day performance by Flash in the Pans, a juried art show, a cooking class at Ambrosia Cooking School, an evening at ImprovAcadia, a plein air painting demonstration, ax throwing demonstrations at the Great Maine Lumberjack Show, and garden tours at the Mira Monte Inn.

During Taste of Bar Harbor's Chef's Table Dinners four exclusive restaurants will be hosting seven-course dinner and pairings along with chef-led tours, demonstrations, and sneak peeks at their favorite recipes.
