Casting, fly-fishing, and fly-tying instruction. Plus the pond will be stocked with trout — and kids are welcome to take their catches home for dinner!

This is a challenging race set on one of the most scenic courses in the east. Competitors will enjoy the natural beauty of the western mountains. The course includes 1k swim in Songo Pond, 24k bike ride on scenic country roads, 5.8k cross-country run on paved and dirt roads. Teams or Individuals. Pre-registration required.

Road race through the Bethel countryside, a five mile run or a three mile walk for adults and teens. Children fourteen and under can participate in the one mile fun run. T-shirts and prizes. Race starts promptly at 8 a.m. Registration and check-in closes at 7:30 a.m.

This show features a wide variety of dealers from Maine and across the United States providing outstanding specimens, jewelry, gem rough, and more. There are museum quality displays along with an eye-catching florescent mineral booth. There will be demonstrations on gold panning and cabbing (the grinding and polishing of stones for jewelry) throughout the weekend. There are hourly door prizes as well as a grand door prize, which is drawn at the end of the show.
 

An old-fashioned, fun, family, fall festival and "chowdah" cook-off, with an apple pie contest, arts & crafts, musical entertainment, demonstrations, hiking, biking, canoeing, food, guided and self-guided bike tours, and much more.

The Mollyockett Days Festival features a parade (at 10 a.m.), contests, entertainment, arts and crafts, gem amd jewelry auction ( at 4 p.m.), frog jumping contest, great music, plenty of food, and fireworks at dusk.

Each year, this free festival features the season’s apples, freshly pressed cider, and other products from local growers, as well as crafts from New England artisans and local musicians.

The second annual Auburn Public Library Farmer's Market features live music, stories for kids, CSA info, and free samples! Join us for this great evening featuring local farmers and vendors offering vegetables, fruits, meats, pickles, jams, soaps, lotions, and more.
