Civil War Reenactment
Civil War historians scrimmage with replica weaponry at this nineteenth-century Civil War Reenactment at the Washburn-Norlands Living History Center. Be prepared for full-scale battles, cannon artillery, the “Town of Unity” civilian camp, field music, blacksmiths, a nineteenth-century fashion show, a dress-up tent with old clothing, a post office where visitors can write a letter to a Civil War soldier, a bean supper and contra dance, and lots more creative anachronisms from the War Between the States.
